Each jar of Flare Care is made with a focus on safety and quality. We use the following ingredients in our formulations:

Olive oil for its ability to hydrate and reinforce the skin barrier, particularly in areas of cracking or dryness.
Grapeseed oil is added to all formulations (except for the Universal Flare Care Essential Oil Free) for its lightweight, non-comedogenic profile and its vitamin E content that supports skin repair and reduces inflammation.
Beeswax is used to create a breathable, moisture-sealing layer that prevents further irritation.
Egg yolk extract, sourced with care from farms that prioritize ethical animal treatment, is included for its nourishing properties and long-standing use in topical healing (this ingredient is not included in the Comfrey & Arnica Relief).
Propolis, a naturally antimicrobial resin produced by bees, offers skin-calming and protective benefits, especially for broken or inflamed skin. (this ingredient is not included in the Thyme & Tea Tree Flare Care and Comfrey & Arnica Relief).
Essential Oils: Essential oils are added sparingly for their aromatic profiles and supportive properties. Visit our “Shop” pages for additional product information.

Our products are made WITHOUT parabens, synthetic fragrance, petroleum, alcohol, drying agents, or harsh preservatives. Flare Care is safe for external topical use on the face and body. Our Universal Flare Care and Universal Flare Care Essential Oil Free are safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding and for use on intimate parts of the body. If you have a known allergy to beeswax, propolis, eggs or any other listed ingredient, do not use this product. If you are unsure about your reaction to a new topical product, we recommend a patch test prior to full use: apply a small amount to clean skin on the inner forearm and wait 24 hours. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and contact your healthcare provider.

All ingredient claims are based on publicly available studies, scientific literature, and traditional usage. For example, propolis has been shown in published research to reduce inflammation, support wound healing, and protect against infection. A 2019 scientific review concluded that bee-derived compounds naturally contain high levels of antioxidants, which help protect skin from oxidative stress — a key contributor to many chronic inflammatory skin issues. While we do not make clinical or diagnostic claims, we share these findings as part of our commitment to ingredient transparency and informed product use.

The customer experience with Flare Care products is highly individual. Many report feeling relief after consistent use on chronic skin challenges such as eczema, boils, cystic acne, inflamed hair follicles, or wound recovery. Some feel results within days, while others experience progressive relief over time. We do not guarantee outcomes and recognize that skin needs vary widely based on the condition, environment, lifestyle, and underlying causes. We encourage continued use as part of a broader self-care or recovery routine, and we respect that every healing process is personal.

To use safely, apply Flare Care to clean, dry skin once or twice daily, or as often as needed. The product is designed for external use only. For complex skin conditions, post-surgical recovery, active wounds under medical care, or use during concurrent topical drug treatment, consult your healthcare provider prior to use. While our ingredients are gentle and selected with safety in mind, combining with prescription medications or open medical sites should be discussed with a licensed practitioner.

Ive had rashes appear on my face—mostly around my nose and chin, but occasionally, the entire face—and body (chest, shoulders, upper back, back of arms, legs, and bikini line). THIS STUFF ACTUALLY WORKS!!!! If you’re questioning if you should try it…. This is your sign to. I was diagnosed with HS which was a difficult thing to come to terms with. i have had boils and cysts since i was 11, i was hospitalised with an abscess at 12 and since then i’ve struggled with getting them in my groin area and under my breasts but i’ve never been able to find anything that truely works. i have bought the green jar and the purple jar (green works best for me). this cream has changed my life, it really does feel like magic, as soon as i have cystic acne begin to come up i used the green jar, overnight my cysts and boils already begin to go down. i know it’s a little pricey, however the jar has lasted me quite a while and im not even halfway through it yet. i know everyone is different and it might not work for everyone, but definitely give it a chance!

just want to say, this stuff is amazing. I got a jar for my HS flair. It works really well for it. Then my 1yr old granddaughter had a "baby acne " bump on her cheek. I applied a small amount and massaged it in. Within 1 hr the redness around the bump was gone! Just the little bump remained! You all are wonderful! I guarantee my daughter will be purchasing. It also helped soothe my other daughter's bug bite. Took all the inflammation away! Just a little bite bump remained!

I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical as I feel like I’ve tried everything for my flare ups. But this stuff IS magic!!! I can put this on my painful flare ups and after two days, it’s less irritated and painful and almost healed! Can’t say enough good things and so glad I tried it!

I ordered the Universal Flare Care for a horrible rash that developed on my thigh. Everything I had put on the rash previous did nothing to help it. I stumbled on an IG ad and decided to give it a try.

I was really expecting the Universal Care Flare ointment to not work like everything else, but putting this on the rash has calmed down the itchiness and the redness. I no longer feel like I need to run a rake over my thigh!!!
